As you can see the production Morris Tom Hawk ARFs are absolutely gorgeous. The covering has panel lines, warning labels, and US insignia already painted in. Mechanical tricycle retracts with steerable nose gear and oleo struts are preinstalled. Two painted pilot figures and additional decals are included to detail this prop jet. |

ARF features pre-installed tricycle retracts and oleo struts. From our test pilots mouth, "What a great flying plane!" Looking for something different? Look no further than the Morris Tom Hawk ARF! Patterned after sleek lines of the McDonnell Douglas T-45A Goshawk the primary carrier training platform for Navy and Marine fighter pilots, the Tom Hawk ARF looks and performs like a jet, but has the simplicity and user friendliness of a prop driven model. With ample wing area, the Tom Hawk ARF eases the transition into jets with predictable landing characteristics, it's no harder to land than most low wing sport planes. Yet this extremely aerodynamic clean model can really move when asked! Due to it's traditional propulsion configuration, there no need to invest in expensive ducted fan or turbine setup to obtain jet-like performance with this model. We powered our prototype with an MVVS 40 which resulted in a 7 lb model, fully equipped with retracts. The combination was near perfection. Rolls, loops, high-speed/low-altitude passes, low-speed/nose-high passes, knife edge, and inverted flight are all in this jet's repetoire! Did we mention that the Tom Hawk ARF screams when the engine's on full boil? Up until now, you needed to build in order to experience the Tom Hawk.
